ANR project ZADyG



Dynamic (repeated), deterministic or stochastic, games (DG) arise in different forms and in many applications; they are also a rich source of open problems in computational complexity.

Our consortium federates computer scientists and applied mathematicians who have developed different approaches for dynamic games, from logic and automata theory to various topics such as combinatorics, nonexpansive mappings, or polyhedral and tropical geometry.

Our objective is to develop a unified vision of these approaches to reach a better understanding of fundamental complexity issues in dynamic games and also to address challenging classes of games arising in applications such as verification, mathematical economy, robust optimization, and population dynamics.

The project is organized as a network, targeting joint meetings and open events (including a conference), to allow cross fertilization, with a special emphasis on training young researchers (with doctoral and post-doctoral positions and also a summer school), leveraging the interdisciplinary environment of the project.
